East Arm Civil started working with Plantman Equipment in 2010 with a need to replace and upgrade an existing service truck for work within the Pilbara region of Western Australia. We required a truck with a greater fuel and lubricate capacity to meet our growing site needs. Following a search of the internet, we found Plantman and I was immediately impressed with the information available and contacted them to discuss our needs further. During the first contact with Plantman, I was impressed with their confidence of their products and the number of units that had been built and deployed for the tough Pilbara conditions. Having worked in this region I know how hard it can be on equipment. For our needs we chose the Plantman P5000 Service Truck for its capacity and functionality. The truck is basically a mobile workshop with compressed air, toolboxes, storage, oil, water, coolant and fuel. Our clients have a high standard for truck servicing and we found the Plantman P5000 truck specification the best option to meet their quality requirements. Further, they could deliver the unit in a short period of time and at a reasonable price. Our operators report the functions of the P5000 easy to operate and our daily servicing is now carried out quickly with all lubrication products we require on-hand within the one machine to service up to 70 different items of plant equipment. The continued reliability of the Plantman P5000 has never created downtime of plant and equipment over the past 6 years. Plantman products are built strong for use on construction sites with all the necessary safety requirements. The reliability of their equipment has created efficiency for our business and our employees enjoy operating our unit. In the long run they are a good investment.
